Curze progress

After 10 gruelling hours of grinding this non metallic gold - finally finished. Also finished the cloak, but won't be attaching it until the rest is finished.
I gotta tell ya, I'm having a great time painting the primarch.

  1. Fantastic work on the NMM! It looks wonderful Byron! You really get an excellent sense of it from the back view!

    1. Thanks Greg! Too bad the back will be covered by that grisly cloak :/
I need to apologise, I accidentally deleted your comment on my last post!

These primarch models really are incredible. It's not so much that they're difficult, but that they allow you to showcase and develop your greatest skills. I'm really looking forward to painting more...

    2. Haha I've done that before too...no worries...heck when I Swapped off the "weebly" comments to the disqus comments, it wiped out EVERY comment I had ever had on the blog. That was a hard one to take!

I realize the cloak will probably cover a bit of it, but it just looks so good. Get some more angles of him as he finishes so we can see the effect from above!

I'm planning on ordering sigsmund, so looking forward to finally working on one of these characters!

    3. Oh that woulda sucked!
I'm thinking of setting up a permanent scenery setting where I can take shots of finished models for the blog. Probably just a regular ol' city fight setting.
I know one thing - I'll be taking much better photos of Curze. He just might be my best ever paint job.
